While we were originally planning a simple courthouse wedding with immediate family only, it soon struck us that there were so many people that helped us get to this point, that directly or indirectly contributed to our marriage journey. To celebrate a day made possible by all of you and to keep it to ourselves did not feel right, so this event is for you, our community, who have come alongside us these past 6 years.

With that in mind, this event is fairly informal. We do ask you refrain from casual clothing, but there is no need for tuxedos and handkerchiefs. Business casual to semiformal wear will be appreciated. Pastor Matt Townsend will officiate the ceremony, followed by a brief reception. There will be a limited space for a first dance and father-daughter dance, but no dedicated dance floor. We are planning to cater a taco bar, and details will follow asking your support for appetizers, plates, desserts, etc. It's not a community event without some help from friends, after all. We look forward to seeing you all there!

If you're looking for a more formal event, we are planning to renew our vows several years from now in Madagascar, with all the pomp and circumstance you've come to expect from other ceremonies. So mark your calendars, it'll be here sooner than you think!
